So we recieved an invitation to Rasa a couple of months after it had opened. I had seen the ads on social media and it had my attention but actually going was a whole different experience. With a modern ambiance within the restaraunt it provides a relaxing but modern feel that makes it an enjoyable place to stay. A full bar with a few craft beer selections and a good happy hour make it the kind of place that is nice to head to for a couple of drinks after work. The food is a mixture of Asian influences from Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, China and so on. The happy hour offers discount appetizers like Roti with curry, wings, curry meatballs, kari puffs (little chickpea empanada type pastries) and more. All the dishes are super fresh, you pick any number of dishes like ho fan, saigon noodles, pad thai, drunken noodles, and add a protien to it. There are plenty of vegetarian friendly dishes and the flavors are incredible making it a pretty easy place to take just about anyone. Lunch specials are great as is the happy hour and the brunch over the weekend ($12.95 for the buffet but $8 for a bottomless mimosa is a rockstar on Saturday afternoons).
